2014 began with the release of Clouds And Canyons, Vol. 5 , a dynamic, seventy-eight minute epic from Flock From Spokane. The second track, "Amidst A Calm, Clear Night Along The Paria River", clocked in at just over forty minutes making it the longest track in the series to this point.
The five tracks spanning Clouds And Canyons, Vol. 5 highlight an even larger emphasis on the evolving, ambient darkness that purveyed through the entire Clouds And Canyons series thus far, adding more layers of both electronic and organic instrumentation. The layers of sound seemingly give way to even more layers of sound, constructing a world of sound that the listener can escape to but never quite escape from
Since its release in 2014, Clouds And Canyons, Vol. 3 has only been available for a short period of time. It is once again available digitally through 21+ Recordings beginning on January 1, 2027.
